It aims to establish the Black Sea Algae Knowledge Hub, a centralized platform for sharing research, innovation, and best practices related to algae. Key activities include developing an AI-powered algae monitoring tool called AlgaeSense, and pilot actions to identify and cultivate algae species with industrial potential for pollution reduction and industrial uptake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project partners: Via Pontica Foundation (PP1- lead partner- Bulgaria); Burgas State University &#8220;PROF. D-R ASSEN ZLATAROV (PP2 &#8211; Bulgaria); Tsotne Mirtskulava Water Management Institute of the Georgian Technical University (PP3-Georgia); Odesa State Agrarian University (PP4 -Ukraine); Hellenic Agricultural Organization DIMITRA (PP5 -Greece); Universitatea Ovidius Din Constanta (PP6 -Romania).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start date: 02\/09\/2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>End date: 01\/03\/2027<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total budget:&nbsp; 1.470.899,04 \u20ac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall objective of the AlgaeRevive project is to create a sustainable and innovative ecosystem for algae research, innovation, and industrial uptake in the Black Sea region.
