Harnessing Algae Power for Pollution Reduction and Blue Growth

The project addresses environmental challenges and promotes sustainable economic development in the region. It aims to establish the Black Sea Algae Knowledge Hub, a centralized platform for sharing research, innovation, and best practices related to algae. Key activities include developing an AI-powered algae monitoring tool called AlgaeSense, and pilot actions to identify and cultivate algae species with industrial potential for pollution reduction and industrial uptake.
