The Government of Georgia has declared May 3, 2023, a public holiday (Red Friday). Therefore, the open competition for scientific staff positions, announced by the Zotne Mirtskhulava Institute of Water Management at the Georgian Technical University, will be held on May 2, 2023, at 12:00 PM, instead of May 3, 2023.

| 15/03/2024 – Open Competition for the Position of Head of a Scientific Structural Unit The Scientific Council of the Tsotne Mirtskhulava Institute of Water Management at the Georgian Technical University announces an open competition for the position of Head of a Scientific Structural Unit: Head of the Department of Natural Hazards and Environmental Protection (Chief Scientific Officer) – 1 staff position. Applications will be accepted from March 11 to March 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the following address: 60B I. Chavchavadze Avenue, Tbilisi, 2nd floor, Room No. 232, Tsotne Mirtskhulava Institute of Water Management. Contact person: Marine Mgebrishvili, Tel: 579 08 95 79. The interview and voting for the selection of candidates for the vacant position of Head of the Scientific Structural Unit will be conducted by the Scientific Council of the Institute on March 15, 2024. The voting results will be announced immediately after the voting on March 15 and will be posted in a visible location at the institute, as well as published on the institute’s website: http://www.wmi.ge/index.htm Complaints regarding violations of the competition procedures will be accepted by the Scientific Council until March 17, 2024. II. Competition Conditions Main Conditions of the Competition: A person eligible for the position of Head of the Scientific Structural Unit must meet the requirements established for the Chief Scientific Officer or Senior Scientific Officer of this independent scientific research unit. If a candidate does not currently hold the position of Chief or Senior Scientific Officer, upon selection as the Head of the Scientific Structural Unit, they will also be considered appointed to the corresponding scientific position. |
